How to Set Up Low Stock Notifications

Never get caught off guard by running out of stock. Uzanga can notify you when a product reaches your low-stock threshold, helping you stay ahead of demand and restock before you run out. You can also set different notifications for each of your inventory locations, so you always know where stock is running low.

Step 1: Go to Notifications

From your Uzanga dashboard, go to Settings, then click Notifications.

Step 2: Set Your Low Stock Threshold

Under the low-stock notification settings, set your default threshold.

This is the stock quantity at which Uzanga will notify you that a product is running low.

For example, if you set your threshold to 5, you’ll receive a notification when a product's stock reaches 5 units or below.

Step 3: Choose Your Notification Channels

Scroll down to select how you’d like to receive low-stock notifications.

You can choose:

  • Email
  • SMS

You can enable one or both notification channels depending on how you prefer to receive alerts.

Step 4: Notify Your Team

If you’d like another member of your team to receive low-stock notifications, you can enable notifications for them as well.

This is useful if someone else is responsible for monitoring inventory or restocking products.

Step 5: Monitor Stock by Inventory Location

Uzanga lets you monitor your stock separately for each inventory location.

For example, if you have some stock at home and some stock at your rented shelf, you can receive a notification when stock becomes low at either location.

This helps you know exactly where you need to restock, rather than only seeing your total stock across all locations.

Keep Your Stock Levels Healthy

With low-stock notifications enabled, Uzanga helps you stay on top of your inventory and maintain a ready supply of products to meet customer demand.
